Have you ever been in a conversation with someone who was immensely critical toward another person? As this person continued spouting their disparaging opinions and assessments, did you notice that aspects and insights about themselves were revealed to you? Summer approaches, Spring is past, Winter's forgotten, Autumn long-gone.  Those of us who live where the seasons are so distinct are fortunate, but there is an undeniable emotional tie to seasonal change; our souls may feel slightly unsettled, even melancholy, as if bracing for some transformation of our own, and a bit of uncertainty.  It occurs to me that this is a good thing; when faced with change, we are taken out of our comfort zone, we stretch a little, learn something new, and grow as we embrace new challenges.  Many say their favorite is summer, but I believe there is something wondrous in each of the seasons.  Keep in mind it is simp
